Peace on Earth Babies, Anonymous Greeting Cards, 3′ x 5′
Harvey and Vicki Borowski of Minneapolis, MN conceived the idea for this beautiful card in 1965 after the birth of their granddaughter. This was at the height of the Civil Rights movement. Like many at the time they wanted to make a better more peaceful and loving world for her. The idea is this beautiful card would take off and they, along with everyone involved would help create that world.
In the late 1960’s and early 1970’s Vicki and Harvey sent these cards to leaders all over the world. They sent them to Golda Meir the Prime Minister of Israel, to the King and Queen of Greece, the King of Denmark, the King of Somoa, the Prime Minister of Canada, the Shah of Iran, the president of China, the Republic of Korea, among many more world leaders. They in turn expressed their sincerest thank you’s to the Borowski’s and their wish for Peace on Earth as well. We are hoping that once again people of all nations will continue this critical mission.
