Recycle Most Anything Using TerraCycle

There’s a company called TerraCycle that helps recycle nearly anything. Our Scrappy passion is the upcycling of plastic bottles into our fabric products but I was amazed at the diversity of recycling options available at http://www.terracycle.com/en-US/zero_waste_boxes.

We all have a lot to gain and landfills to lose by enrolling in their programs

Would I like separating my trash into more than 50 different bins? Ummm, no. But for businesses and organizations that have a specific waste-stream, it’s a good approach. They even have hair recycling boxes, available for Barbers and Hair Stylists no doubt.

And perhaps the best part is, you can mail your trash away (there is a small price for the boxes), do a good thing for Earth, and reduce the cost of your existing trash & recycling removal.
